SALES MANAGER
Lewis Floor & Home is in immediate need of a Sales Manager for its Northbrook, Illinois suburban location. Candidates must have prior experience in flooring sales and management. Responsibilities include:
1. Supervising the sales staff and showroom receptionists
2. Interviewing, orienting and training new hires
3. Sales staff development (execute performance goals for staff, help sales staff develop and maintain action plans, conduct staff performance appraisals, observe and coach sales staff, etc.)
4. Managing the showroom floor (open and close store, customer relations, prepare showroom schedule, manage rotation and up system, etc.)
5. Trouble shooting orders and providing sales support
6. Handling sales related customer service issues
7. Reviewing and verifying accuracy of carpet measures and re-breaking carpet measures
8. Keeping current on products in the showroom and trends in the flooring industry

SALES CONSULTANTS
Lewis Floor & Home is looking for experienced sales consultants to add to its Northbrook and Chicago locations. The ideal candidate will have design and retail sales experience and excellent organization, interpersonal, communication and project management skills. Responsibilities will include:
* Consulting with customers on flooring solutions, kitchen and bath remodeling, and
window treatments
* Managing the sales process from qualification to close
* Working with warehouse staff, installers, mills, and co-workers to make sure
product is installed on time and accurately
* Keeping current on products in the showroom and trends in the flooring industry
* Scheduling measures, sample tracking, and status reporting.
